Role
As Business Unit Manager Testing, you will have final responsibility for further expanding and professionalising the companies testing activities. The company currently tests the high-voltage connections, both onshore and offshore, it installs itself with a team of six test engineers. Reynard High Voltage wants to expand these testing activities by also carrying out tests on behalf of third parties. As Business Unit Manager you will be responsible for the results of the Testing department. You will map out the market and liaise with (potential) customers in order to increase turnover. You will provide technical input during the tender phase and advise your customers. Together with HR, you will build a team of Test Engineers and Project Managers. In the inital phase towards further growth, you will manage the projects yourself, from preparation to delivery. In addition, you will be responsible for the purchase of testing equipment and will work on the further professionalisation of testing protocols. You will manage your team, provide guidance where necessary and ensure personal development and training through the internal Academy. You will report to Management.
Profile
- Higher education (HBO) level and knowledge of high voltage.
- Knowledge of and practical experience with high voltage testing techniques, such as DC test systems, VLF, DAC and Power Frequency & Resonant, is important.
- Experience with project coordination and high voltage diagnostic testing techniques, such as Tan δ and partial discharge measurements.
- Entrepreneurial and results-oriented attitude.
- Solution-oriented, positive, proactive.
- Hands-on, pragmatic and all-round. Excellent command of English.
- Living within commuting distance of Nieuw-Vennep, you will be working at the office at least 4 days a week.
