You are responsible for managing the greenfield sales and proposal teams (12 FTE) and deliver the commercial targets within the assigned European territory and accounts. To achieve these objectives, you internally closely cooperate with the Service, Project management, Engineering and Finance teams.
By actively managing sales, forecasts and planning, you assure a high level of quality, accuracy and consistency in projects, products and services to your clients. Managing the project pipeline, analysis of lead data and interaction with clients, provides you with key insights in business and market trends. These drive the European sales strategy, market segmentation, key accounts to target and the risk analysis of capital-intensive projects. You lead sales in accordance with the desired product portfolio mix and negotiate commercial deals that meet targeted margin, profit and volume objectives. Looking for new opportunities and solutions that add value and make a difference to Paques’ clients, is second nature to you. Your situational leadership motivates your team to meet sales goals and comply with the appropriate rules and procedures. Active support of your individual team members in Balk, enables you to further grow a world class sales team.
To stay current on trends and competition, you travel throughout Western Europe to meet key stakeholders at clients and, both non-exclusive and exclusive, business partners on senior and middle management levels. As member of the European MT, you deliver updates on business and market dynamics, influence company policies and report to the Managing Director.
