Marketing Manager
Functieprofiel
As a steering committee member of the Sales Development Team, you are responsible for the marketing and product management function and lead the marketing and product management agenda throughout the European organisation. Together with the Industry Segment Managers you define market plans per industry segment and bring focus to the product portfolio of these segments. This includes management of product development and optimisation of existing product ranges, based on analysis of NSV, EBIT and margin. You oversee pricing proposals and establish the required parameters for each product group and lead the publication of corporate material. You assist your team and the Industry Segment Management team in developing and implementing marketing plans for each product group. This way you drive optimisation of the product portfolio, manage the product development agenda, provide technical support and support product launches by means of communication materials and training. By doing so you ensure the proper focus and process for project execution and the timely delivery on milestones. In case of strategic or critical (quality) projects, you take the role of project leader to assure the best possible and efficient resolution across organisational boundaries. Within the European organisation you have close relationships with Industry Segment Managers, Operating Companies and Manufacturing Units. They provide you and your team with the commercial and operational requirements and justification for your portfolio of marketing and development projects.
Profiel kandidaat
You have a bachelor or academic degree, followed by an internationally developed career on the interface of marketing and engineering. As result of your training and experience you are a seasoned marketeer with at least 10 years of experience in an international industrial environment. Your analytical and technical driven mind-set assures good problem solving skills and you have experience with project management. You have strong communication skills that enable you to lead en motivate people and to set clear expectations. Besides a team player you are an experienced people manager, with experience to manage across borders. You are based in the Netherlands, or willing to relocate and have the willingness to travel up to 20% of your time.
